These Driver Terms & Conditions (“Driver Terms”) govern the relationship between Doonspedo (“Company”, “Platform”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) and individuals who register as driver-partners on the Doonspedo platform.
By registering as a driver-partner, accessing the driver application, or accepting ride requests through the platform, you agree to be bound by these Driver Terms.
Driver-partners operate as independent service providers.
An employer-employee relationship.
A partnership.
A joint venture.
An agency relationship.
Drivers are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, taxes, permits, and licensing requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age or the minimum age required by applicable law.
Hold a valid driving license appropriate for the vehicle category.
Possess valid vehicle registration documents.
Maintain valid insurance coverage.
Hold any permits or approvals required by law.
Successfully complete identity verification and background screening.
Submit accurate and up-to-date information.
Doonspedo reserves the right to approve or reject any application at its sole discretion.
Failure to maintain valid documentation may result in account suspension.
Doonspedo operates a subscription-based driver model.
Subscription fees and benefits will be displayed within the driver application.
Access to ride requests may be restricted if an active subscription is not maintained.
Doonspedo does not deduct ride commissions from completed trips.
Drivers retain 100% of ride fare earnings, subject to applicable government taxes and legal obligations.
Drivers can view earnings and trip history through the driver application.
Drivers are responsible for reviewing payment records and reporting discrepancies promptly.
Subscription fees are fixed and transparently displayed.
No hidden platform charges are imposed.
Subscription fees may be revised periodically.
Any significant pricing changes will be communicated in advance.
Continued use of the platform after a pricing update constitutes acceptance of the revised fees.
Operate vehicles safely and responsibly.
Follow all traffic and transportation laws.
Treat passengers respectfully.
Maintain professional conduct.
Keep vehicles clean and roadworthy.
Arrive at pickup locations within reasonable time.
Provide transportation services in good faith.
Drivers must not engage in conduct that harms passengers, the platform, or public safety.
Are legally registered.
Are properly maintained.
Meet applicable safety requirements.
Have valid insurance coverage.
Comply with platform eligibility requirements.
The platform may restrict onboarding of vehicles that exceed age limits or fail inspection requirements.
Drivers should accept ride requests only when genuinely available to complete the trip.
Passenger no-show.
Safety concerns.
Vehicle breakdown.
Emergency situations.
Incorrect pickup information.
Reduced ride allocations.
Temporary suspension.
Permanent account termination.
Verify passenger pickup details.
Follow navigation and safety procedures.
Avoid reckless driving.
Report incidents promptly.
Cooperate with investigations when required.
Safety remains a fundamental condition of participation on the platform.
Operate under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Harass, threaten, or discriminate against passengers.
Engage in fraudulent activities.
Manipulate fares or trips.
Use fake documentation.
Share accounts with unauthorized persons.
Solicit payments outside approved methods without authorization.
Violate any applicable law.
Violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
Passenger ratings and feedback may be used to evaluate service quality.
Review driver performance.
Provide warnings or training recommendations.
Restrict platform access where performance standards are not maintained.
Expired documents.
Fraudulent activity.
Repeated policy violations.
Safety concerns.
Criminal activity.
Failure to maintain subscription requirements.
Misconduct toward passengers or platform representatives.
Termination may occur without prior notice where necessary for safety, legal compliance, or platform integrity.
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable after activation.
Duplicate payments.
Technical errors.
Verified billing mistakes.
Approved refunds will be processed according to applicable payment procedures.
Driver information is collected, processed, and stored in accordance with the Doonspedo Privacy Policy.
Identity verification.
Ride management.
Payment processing.
Safety monitoring.
Legal compliance.
The platform is provided on an “as available” basis.
Doonspedo does not guarantee uninterrupted access to ride requests.
The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from platform use.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where prohibited by law.
Doonspedo reserves the right to modify these Driver Terms at any time.
Updated terms will be communicated through the driver application, website, email, or other official communication channels.
Continued use of the platform after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Driver Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts where the Company is registered.
